Saved from a Coal Mine, These Dogs Need Loving Homes

Meet Bowser!

Found living outside of a coal mine with several dogs, two-year-old Bowser has come a long way in his journey from fearful pup to life of the dog party! He is awaiting a loving home, preferably not an apartment, with caring adopters and another dog friend—or two! Bowser would thrive in a home with one or more dogs.

When Bowser sees a familiar face, he does a happy dance! You can’t help but smile when he starts tapping his toes and turning circles, eager to greet a friend. This sweet soul loves the great outdoors and is happiest hiking, playing in a yard, romping with dog friends, riding in the car or chewing a bone.

Say Hello to Kong!

Three-year-old Kong was found alongside Bowser, and other dogs, living outside of a coal mine. He has made incredible progress in our care and is beloved by staff. Kong is a gentle boy who enjoys attention, treats, food puzzle toys, dog friends, scratches and exploring! He is fantastic at leash walking and will stick right by your side.

An active family with another dog friend would be Kong’s ideal home. He can be shy and needs an adopter who can be patient as he adjusts to his new environment.

Can you help Kong find his new home? Learn more about sweet Kong today and spread the word to help him get adopted!

Please help these two loving dogs find the homes they deserve! If Bowser or Kong sound like a match for your family, please email [email protected] for more information.
