SheKnows cover star Tia Mowry-Hardrict caught up with us earlier this summer to talk back-to-school plans and much more. While the Netflix series she stars in Family Reunion launched season 4 last month, her 10-year-old son Cree went back to the classroom, and her 3-year-old daughter Cairo started nursery school, the actress and all-around mom-preneur still had a moment to laugh it all off with She Media’s Vice President of Video Reshma Gopaldas in a game of Would You Rather.
Mowry-Hardrict made the most of this time at home, guiding her kids in their classwork and spending more quality time with family, but she’s certainly ready to move on. “I think it’s important that they go back to school. And Cree has definitely voiced wanting to be around his friends,” she told SheKnows Editor-in-Chief Eugenia Miranda Richman in the cover story interview. So when asked if she would rather run a marathon with Kamala Harris with no training or endure another pandemic but with Dr. Fauci by her side, it was an unequivocal answer: Kamala Harris and a marathon, please! “Surviving another pandemic at home with the kids being homeschooled? I don’t even think Dr. Fauci can survive that,” she said.
