Getting a fresh set of box braids, regardless of length, activates a level of bad bitch that's truly unmatchable. The moment you step out of the appointment, you know you look good, even if your scalp is hurting a bit from the tension. The Bachelorette's acting co-host Tayshia Adams definitely proved that with her new brown and blonde waist-length braids.
For this hairstyle reveal, Adams didn't debut with a series of selfies. Instead, she decided to strut her way down a city block while flipping the lengthy braids over her shoulder in an Instagram video she posted for her 1.8 million followers. This Bachelorette season might have to wait because she may just have to take her talents to the runway. As she walks to the tune of "Walk" by Miami rapper Saucy Santana, you can see the scattered blonde box braids in their full glory. Her super-wide smile at the end is just icing on the cake.

These braids are definitely a change from Adams' usual straightened hair. While the jet black 1B color is a popular option for box braids, she opted for what looks like a mixture of brown and platinum blonde Kanekalon braiding hair, probably to mimic her own highlighted honey-blonde hair.
These may not be the longest box braids we've ever seen, but the ends stop below her waist for a lengthy but manageable style. The size of each braid is also perfect — small but not too tiny that takedown will feel like an eternity.
Though this video was fire, Adams surely needs to give us some selfie shots with the fresh braids. Fans need some cute photos they can bring to their braider for the next appointment. We don't know how long she'll be keeping these blonde-highlighted braids in, but we do know she will look absolutely gorgeous with them — hopefully long enough for them to appear on The Bachelorette.
