Coronavirus is an infectious disease which has been confirmed in more than one million individuals across the world. You could be at risk of COVID-19 if you develop aches and pains in your joints and muscles, it’s been claimed.

People have been advised to remain indoors, as almost 40,000 UK individuals have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The most common warning signs of the disease include a high fever, and a new, continuous cough.
But, you could also be at risk of coronavirus if you’ve noticed your joints feeling particularly achey, it’s been revealed.
One patient has explained that her aches and pains were one of the first warning signs that she might have something serious.
Nurse Lisa Merck from Colorado explained that she thought she had a cold, at first.
But, after a few days, the virus began to take hold, and it ended with Merck requiring medical help.
She was in Hawaii for a medical conference, and started to develop joint pain on the flight home, she explained.
